The mission of Care Net is to honor and promote the sanctity of human life and to educate, support, and love individuals in crisis due to unplanned pregnancies, past abortions, or sexual promiscuity. They promote and provide support for an abstinent lifestyle for youth and unmarried adults to draw people unto the Lord Jesus Christ - to bring Him honor and glory.
All services are free and confidential. Care Net provides many aids, such as: pregnancy testing; counseling with the pregnant mother, father of the child, and parents of the mother-to-be; and classes on adoption, parenting, childbirth, budgeting, and relationships. They also provide practical support such as clothing, furniture, diapers and formula. As a volunteer, you will be trained in the area in which you feel called to serve. There are volunteer opportunities for women, men, and church groups.
Cru is a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. Their purpose is helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith and sending them to win and build others and helping the body of Christ to do evangelism and discipleship through a variety of creative ways.
Cru offers spiritual guidance, resources and programs tailored for people from all cultures in every walk of life through many diverse outreaches.
Since 1974, thousands of people, both inside and outside prison walls, have felt the impact of Discipleship Unlimited, a multi-faceted ministry based in Gatesville, Texas. We seek to build up the body of believers in the faith through prayer, Bible study, accountability to other believers, and the application of Biblical truth.
Disciple Unlimited volunteers give of their time and efforts in ways that enrich the prisoners’ lives, their own lives, and the Kingdom of God. With their dedication and participation, our ministry is able to impact thousands of inmates in several U.S. states and two continents.
The Heart of Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes serves a 12 county area. Some of the ways they serve are: Coaches Bible studies, student led huddle groups, team chaplain program, area wide outreach events, the Victory Bowl and numerous summer camps. Their mission is to present to coaches and athletes, the challenge and adventure of accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships, and in the fellowship of the church. FCA works best when we link arms with the local church to impact the campuses and communities they are near. Numerous ways to plug in and serve are available.
Generations Adoptions exists to provide permanent Christian adoptive families for children in need; counseling and support services for women throughout their pregnancy; and families for orphans around the world.
They joyfully provides Christian families for orphans around the world, as well as infants in the U.S. They exist for ministry – ministering to birth mothers seeking to place their child in a loving family; ministering to adoptive families following God’s call to care for orphans as well as those struggling with infertility; and ensuring every child will have a Christian family that will allow them the opportunity to know Jesus and the Father Heart of God.
Jesus Said Love is a ministry that prays for and builds relationships with those who work in the commercial sex industry. Volunteers visit strip clubs every month and bring high quality gift bags to dancers and club employees across McLennan County and Texas, to share love - without strings attached - and connect them to community and spiritual resources.
Created in God’s very image, people bear the glory of God. It is people who are the Body of Christ. Whether it’s donors, team members, volunteers, or clients, every single one deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. We bear each other’s burdens. We are a family. We each have a unique voice that we aim to hear. Following the example of Jesus we strive to love others through an authentic, relational approach.
A community-wide, interdenominational Christian ministry of discipleship and fellowship for youth and their families. Through various activities KLIFE kids grow in their faith through fellowship. They learn that following Christ and discovering His plan for their life is an exciting adventure and that they can count on friendship and support from leaders and peers.
Master's Harvest is going into it's fifth year in Oak Cliff (South Dallas) serving among the immigrant and refugee population, after nearly twenty years serving on the Texas/Mexico border. The ministry continues to follow the same basic path since its inception in 1988. They seek to equip and mobilize young people as they discover and embrace a missional lifestyle. Secondly, they facilitate the young people to live as everyday missionaries among the Hispanic culture in which they have served among since 1985. This is lived out through Missional Communities, doing life as a family on mission.
Mission Waco | Mission World is a Christian, inter-denominational, holistic ministry that works with people at many levels. It is a ministry that focuses on training middle-class Christians to work among the poor and develop a Christian world-view, and on building relationships with the marginalized unchurched.
Volunteers are the “heart” of Mission Waco. Driven by a desire to share with others what God has done in their own lives, Christian volunteers learn how to communicate in ways the unchurched can understand. There are many areas in which volunteers can serve.
At the Chihuahuan Connection, their work of faith is feeding God’s children in all the nations, all the world, all creation, and to the uttermost parts of the earth. They deliver the tangible bread that saves the body as well as the spiritual bread that saves the soul.

Stone River Books
Stone River Books, who serves as an organization who produces and prints materials, is now making available an additional tool which any Christian can easily use. It is a book called, “The Life of Jesus”, available now in Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Chinese, Spanish and English. The "Life of Jesus” is the four Gospels – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, arranged and compiled into one sequential story using only the scriptures. It is not a modern paraphrase, but rather an accurate translation provided by WBTC, World Bible Translation Center, which is a subsidiary of the Bible League International. The vocabulary is simple and ideal for those who have never before read the Bible.
