Why AWANA?

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. It is a fast-paced, unique way to learn God’s word. AWANA clubs help churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus.

Our club meetings are so exciting that kids can’t wait to come back for more! While kids are having a blast, they are learning Bible verses they will remember for a lifetime. Club night consists of a large group time, small handbook time, and game time.

Handbook time is a time when clubbers say their verses to their small group leader and then are discipled over that verse.  Children will not only memorize the Word of God, but will learn what it means and how it applies to their lifes.
